After four years of intensive inspiration, design and build, Micromagic Systems is proud to unveil Mantis – the biggest, all-terrain operational hexapod robot in the world.
So yes, you can actually ride and control it. It can take you places, but don’t start planning a custom garage for it because it’s not for sale. You can only rent it for a video, party or whatever.
Mantis is powered by a 2.2 litre Turbo Diesel engine and it can be piloted or controlled via wi-fi. It is 2.8 meters high and weights just under two tonnes.
