This is scary. Anti-gun proponents like this completely disregard the whole reason for the second amendment. Disarm the people, you concentrate and keep ALL the power in the government - period. That's what these people want to do. When will this country wake up???

She's been on the committee for 20 years and doesn't want to be treated like a 6th grader. After all that time she should be an expert on firearms, but her statements about them lead me to only two possible conclusions:

1) Somehow in 20 years she has not learned a single thing about how a firearm functions, so yes, she should be treated like a 6th grader, or:

2) She actually does know how firearms function and she's a liar with an agenda.
