Sweet Jesus this constant alarmism breaks my heart. BTW, a small update to the article: the DHS has 16 of these vehicles. The confusion probably resulted from a delivery of 2700 or so to the USMC.
They spend a decade buying APC's and other military equipment for law enforcement, but suddenly now it's a problem when they choose to purchase a state of the art APC?
Next we'll be seeing a post here about FEMA coffins.

The DHS has constantly militarized police forces across the US since its inception. How many small towns, which have never had a terrorist action ever, now have SWAT teams?
