Interesting concept but I am not sure how well it would actually clean a grill, especially once the grates have cooled down. The best way to keep your cooking grates clean it to apply a light coat of cooking oil on them before you fire up the grill. When finished cooking, brush the grates thoroughly while they are still warm. Once the grill has cooled down, apply another light coat of oil to the grates before putting the grill away. Repeat every time you use the grill and your grates will look like new for a long time.
