I don't understand, so the breeders of these dogs aren't interested in who owns the puppy? What about DNA testing of the parents? A vet check is not enough assurance. Having AKC papers doesn't mean squat, nor is it a guarantee of anything. Just seems like a front for backyard breeding.
I've bought three dogs from this pet store a few years back, all my dogs are healthy and well socialized. When my wife and I went into the store, we were really impressed how they didn't keep any of the puppies behind a glass wall and separated from each other. So I knew they had begun to be socialized with people and other dogs.
I wasn't looking for any show dogs or anything overly special, so I didn't really care about DNA testing or AKC papers. Its been my experience that they have some good dogs there. I don't know if it is a front for backyard breeding but I doubtful of it.
