This type of research should be pursued with vigor regardless of "spiritual" convictions by some. We are on the cusp of greatness in terms of medical breakthroughs and bringing renewed life to so many that have done without for far too long.

Spiritual convictions? Plenty of umbilical cords and skin cells to go around. No need to kill people in the name of breakthroughs and progress.
