Cast-Iron Pan

Lets face it, if you can't handle one of these things, you're not a man. Hell... I'm a scrawny puke and I own one. I do my squats and deadlifts with it.
Mine is also enamelled because cleaning cast-iron can be a royal pain.
The fact of the matter is, cast-iron does something other metals don't do very well: retain heat. This makes it great for a wide range (hehe) applications like frying bacon, cooking eggs, browning ground meats, braising, etc., etc., etc..
A smaller pan is good to have for camping, although if you're into the minimalist thing, you may want to forget getting one.
