The love of V8 Supercar is no longer limited to the land down under as they have branched out globally to New Zealand, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. The search for a venue to host the first V8 Supercars race in the United States ranked high on the list of priorities for series CEO Tony Cochrane, and less than a month later they found a partner in the new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
