LL Bean had one exactly like this but with crepe sole in case a quick trip outside was necessary. Also good in our all-wood-floor house but, oh man, I don't see them on the website any more! Minnetonka, here I come!

REI makes a pretty good one too with soles, but these are more for around the house. I think without the soles they are actually more comfortable, but you are right, they aren't much good for outside of the house!
