I never really understood the "alternative" ichthys. The original symbol is rich in Christian history and is akin to wearing a cross only on your vehicle. To deface or alter it seems kinda disrespectful. And yet on the linked site, it's "all in good fun". Is nothing sacred any more?
I can kind of understand what you are saying, mango, however, regardless of the true meaning of the symbol, how does slapping a plastic representation of this item on your vehicle keep the symbol "sacred"?
