There's a IndieGoGo out there for an interesting new product: a solar-powered hot dog oven.

The GoSun Solar Dogger is the mystery meat cooking cousin of the GoSun Sport Solar Oven. Unlike the GoSun Sport, the Solar Dogger only does one thing, and it does it well: roast weiners.

The Solar Dogger will reach temperatures of up to 550 degrees in a few minutes, and can cook a pair of hot dogs in just ten. And don't just limit yourself to hot dogs: the Solar Dogger can roast any sort of sausage, spring rolls, taquitos... basically any tubular food that fits into the cooking area.

Another interesting aspect of the Solar Dogger: the outside remains cool to the touch while the inside is roaring to 550 degrees.

The solar oven is going to be available for around $59 if the goal is met. Once it retails it'll bump up to $79.
