The Nubé Stratos™ is a twist on the popular previous iteration of the hammock, the Nube Shelter. (By the way, you pronounce Nubé "new-bay".) The Stratos is a hammock that has everything you need to rest or sleep comfortably, without using a single tent stake over any terrain.

The hammock/system basically consists of 3 different layers:

• A mosquito shield that doubles as a way to store up to 100 pounds of gear
• The StratosFly, which offers wind and rain protection, and
• the hammock itself, which comes with a stuff sack and can hold up to 400 pounds.

It's a great hammock that is going to hit the funding goal needed on Kickstarter to start production. The Sierra Madre Research group that made the original Nubé Shelter has a great track record of making high quality products.

At this time a backing of $339 will get you the entire kit, but you could buy each piece separately if you wanted.
