Nintendo has officially broken our hearts and discontinued the NES Classic, leaving a console-shaped hole in the hearts of those who crave classic gaming.
But there is hope.
Atari has come out with a timely cure: the Atari Flashback Ultimate Portable Game Player. The Flashback comes with 60 built-in games loaded onto a portable console that gives you the option of the LCD screen of plugging into a TV with a video out port and using the Flashback as an Atari controller. You can also load downloaded games via the SD slot.
Atari has released other Flashback editions with built-in games, but they don't give the option to add games with an SD card like the portable version.
