We're very excited to announce the release of our latest addition to Gentlemint: The Parlor.

What is The Parlor?

Imagine a Gentleman's club from a century (or so) ago. A nice sitting room with roaring fire, and, best of all, lively conversation. That's what we're aiming for here: a comfortable place to exchange ideas and thoughts with friends.

While there are plenty of great comments that happen on tacks, there was still the barrier of needing to add a link with an image in order to start a conversation. No more. (Technically you can add images, but we'll get to that in a minute).

How is it different?

For starters, the only tenant of the Parlor is this: Respect. If you've ever been to any online community or forum before, this key ingredient is lacking 99% of the time.

We're lucky here at Gentlemint to have an amazing community of respectful and thoughtful people, so we know this will continue in the Parlor as well.

Also, another unique aspect of The Parlor is that you can use text formatting, add links or even use images and video in your threads. Just click the "formatting help" link when you're creating a thread and we'll show you how.

And lastly, you're not bound by the length of the reply or thread. Want to fill out an entire article-length post? Fire away! Just want to ask a quick question? That's fine too. The world is your oyster in The Parlor.
