Does anyone have some solid restaurant/bar recommendations for NYC, particularly (but not limited to) the Midtown area? Every time I go, I waste so much time sifting through yelp reviews, trying to find just the right place. It would be awesome to have some trusted, go-to recommendations from the GM community this time around.

8 years, 3 months agoI ate at the Cookshop in Chelsea the last time I was in NYC and it was fantastic. A little pricey but that's typical for that area and NYC in general. The place fills up fast so getting there or at least having a reservation is a must.

8 years, 3 months agoI would also recommend you look into reviews, etc. from Toni Senecal. She is married to a friend of mine and has her own TV show in NYC that visits numerous restaurants all over town. Some of the food she shows it amazing. Below are some links that might help:

8 years, 3 months agoThanks Razorback. We didn't make it out to Chelsea but I've got it down for the next trip. I go to New York every two months so I'll have time dig in to the reviews from Toni Senecal and curate a list.
