About Gentlemint
Gentlemint is a social community focused around sharing, bookmarking and discussing gentlemanly content. What is "gentlemanly", you might ask? Well, that's up to you. While Gentlemint is centered around a particular type of content, there is also a focus on community and inclusivity. All are welcomed with open arms and encouraged to contribute to making Gentlemint a friendly, fun and enjoyable place to kick up your feet and relax from the perils of other, more humdrum social platforms.
Gentlemint features topics like:
- Cars
- Alcohol and other vices
- Food
- Interesting architecture
- World news
- Fitness
- Popular culture
- ... and much more.
The site is actively worked on by the founders, and grows and changes every day.

History
Gentlemint started as a 12-hour hack day for founders Brian McKinney and Glen Stansberry on November 25, 2011 in Lawrence, Kansas.
After initially only showing Gentlemint to a few friends, the site quickly spread and ended up being profiled in a few large publications. Shortly thereafter, major online publications, as well as print and television started profiling the site. The rest is, as they say, history.
Gentlemint has quickly grown to become the premier site for finding gentlemanly content on the Internet.
Press
Gentlemint has been featured in most major publications including TIME, Mashable, FOX News, Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Forbes, CNN, and many other publications. It has even been hailed as one of "the manliest sites on the Internet" by the American Moustache Society.
In 2012 Gentlemint was featured in PCMag's Top 100 Website of 2012.
