That came across as kinda harsh. It's the same thing I have against 5k's that my friends want me to do. Why should I pay for something I can do on my own for free?
Well, I am an old guy now, did my time in the Army. I just do stuff like this for fun now. Did Tough Mudder last year, it was a great time, was looking for something different this year. The difference for me now is, I can do this for fun, not because I have to.

Well I joined the army I get paid to ruck. Did see some VMI guys in there so it can't be too bad.
