We had the pleasure of seeing Rev. Al perform with his band a couple of years ago. And he is from Arkansas so I give him bonus points for that. ;-)

jealous. what kind of venue? what kind of set? gospel?
man, i wish i could go back in time and check him in his prime.
Pretty small venue. Less than 1200 people. He played mostly the old stuff but mixed a little gospel in with it. Very entertaining. Talked about how "Let's Stay Together" has supposedly been the cause of many a child being born.
