In another tack, I had said that both sides of the political aisle were throwing out irrelevant solutions that merely catered to their party base. Here the author makes the same point. Like I said then, can we get past the fluff and start working toward real solutions?
Yeah, I call those distractions. Things to focus on instead moving forward on anything that isn't one party or the other's pet issue. Distract the stupid mob get reelected and what else matters.
