This is absolutely reprehensible. What are we, North Korea?
I believe that the government is too big. But prisons are one thing that should be 100% government owned and managed. The incarceration of a person should never be in the hands of a private entity. Any possibility of a profit motive should be impossible.
This country is being destroyed, and its citizens subjugated by corrupt politicians on both sides. When will we retake control?

Most privatized thingsare good for the market, competition and whatnot, but prisons– freedom, that's the whole point of government.
