Just always make sure that this is legal in your area. I know here in Colorado it is illegal to collect rainwater because we are in a drought.

I have heard it was illegal in some states and locales. Just ridiculous! In AZ they haven't put any restrictions on it so far, actually they had a tax credit until 2012 to help with costs to put in rain water harvesting systems.
