Weird, huh? Should we be surprised that kids now grow up in total dependence of their parents to drive them everywhere are just as happy to turn over their freedom to the government in order to be taken care of? My kid at eight, "Can you drive me to my friend's house?" Me, "Your bike is on the garage. Go to it." At 15 you can now really tell the difference between him and his helpless, clueless friends.
